Question
How can we rate applications with stars and write comments?
Answer
Star rating is a useful tool in the recruitment process. Users with the role “Case worker” or “Read w/ranking” have the option to assign a desired number of stars to applicants, along with their own comments on the application.
Users with the appropriate access level, as mentioned above, can add their own comments and star ratings independently of each other.
Stars and comments are registered from the candidate view for each individual applicant. Once stars and a comment have been added, the user can navigate to the next applicant and repeat the process.
Click “Add rating” in the column on the right-hand side of the candidate view (see screenshot).
After clicking “Add rating” (highlighted in yellow in the image above), the user can enter their comment and star rating of the application (1–5 stars).
The star rating is not visible in case documents or to the applicant. It is only visible to case handlers and others who have access to the position.
In the applicant overview, the star rating of candidates is displayed as follows:
- If no case handler has rated the candidate, the star icon will be grey.
- If the candidate has been rated, the star icon will be pink (see image below).
If several users rate the same candidate, the system will also calculate an average star rating, which is shown as a number next to the star in the applicant overview.
You can change your star rating at any time during the candidate handling process, as long as the position has not been set to “Closed”.
