Let the system handle the initial screening of your applications. This is particularly useful when publishing a job ad that is likely to receive many applications, allowing you to quickly get an overview of qualified candidates.
Who can use this feature
All users, regardless of permissions: Can add individual existing questions or questions from existing templates, reorder questions and answer options.
Administrators and authorized users: Can create and edit questions, modify and add answer options, assign scores, mark answers as mandatory requirements, and make questions compulsory to answer.
Assigning permissions to users
As an administrator, you can give permissions to users within your user groups to create and edit screening questions directly in a recruitment process. To do this, go to Settings → Privilegies and select the user group to which you want to assign the right.
Create questions and shared questionnaires in settings
If you want to create a new questionnaire using existing or new questions, you can do so by navigating to Settings → Questionnaires and selecting the Questions tab. Choose whether you want to use an existing question or create a new one.
Select the questions you want to include and then click Create questionnaire. Please note that any changes to an existing question will affect all templates where that question is used.
Question types to choose from
Single-choice question:
Example: Do you have a driver’s license?
Yes or No
(Only one answer option can be selected)
Multiple-choice question:
Example: Select the systems you have previously worked with.
Excel, Word, PowerPoint
(Multiple answer options can be selected)
Text question:
Example: Write a few lines about why we should hire you?
(The candidate is given the opportunity to provide a free-text answer)
Video question:
Example: Tell us briefly about yourself?
(The candidate is given the option to record a short video clip or upload one)
